1.      We encourage you to visit the FAQ page on the EDLD website.  It should answer most of the common questions that people have.

3.      If your questions are of a specific nature and cannot be answered by the website, then call to make an appointment with the Department Chair.

 

Fall 2009 Programs:

 

All of the programs require that candidates complete an on-line Department application. All (Preliminary, Internship and Master’s Degrees) requires that candidates apply separately to CSU East Bay on the University graduate application (online).

 

The following application deadlines apply: The department accepts applications between January 1 and April 15 for all programs, but applications be continue to be accepted until spaces are filled. We are currently still continuing to accept Tier 1 applications as space is available. Please click on the online department AND university applications immediately. Applicants should read the instructions on how to apply before completing the application.

Submit your application after January 1, 2009, in order to be considered for fall 2009 admission. Thank you.

 

 

Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (and internship) (Tier I)

Note: Candidates for the Master’s degree in Educational Leadership (not Urban Teacher Leadership) must complete the one of credential programs as part of the degree, and therefore follow the application processes for credential programs.

 

• Department applications available on-line (Tier I Application Form) beginning January 1 for Fall Admission.

• University applications available on-line (http://www.csumentor.edu/)

• Applications are reviewed and applicants are selected until spaces are filled.

 

 

Professional Administrative Services Credential (Tier II)

 

• Department application open continuously (Tier II Application Form). Program begins fall quarter.

• NOTE: If you intend to use Tier II courses toward a Master’s degree, contact the Department Graduate Coordinator.

• For fall program, applications are reviewed beginning April 15 until spaces are filled. Priority given to candidates whose Tier I credential expires the soonest.

 

 

Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership—Emphasis in Urban Teacher Leadership

 

To apply to Tier I and UTL Master’s degree programs you must complete the department online applications:

 

• An online department application is available at http://www.edschool.csueastbay.edu/departments/edld/index.html

• University application (http://www.csumentor.edu/) (requires two sets of official transcripts).

Newly admitted & Continuing Students:

Check MYCSUEB at https://my.csueastbay.edu/ for your registration status.
Check web registration for complete details on how to enroll.

Establish a horizon email account NetID: http://www.csueastbay.edu/netid. Click on the Students link.
Contact your cohort leader via email if you have questions.

 

Completers: 

 

Credential Applicants: (available to those who have completed all the coursework for the credential). You may apply for your credential once final grades are posted.

 

For credential application packets go to the Credentials Student Service Center (CSSC), Room AE 235 (510) 885-2272.

 

Return completed credential packets with all fees to the CSSC office in room AE 235.  Please allow 5 to 10 working days for processing.
