Application and Admissions Procedures:
The process of applying and being admitted to the ELSJ program is a two-step procedure. The first step requires that interested persons apply for admission to the Department of Educational Leadership. If you are a successful applicant and you are admitted into the ELSJ program by the department, then you will be authorized to submit your CSU application in order to be officially admitted to the university. A detailed explanation of each of the steps follows:
Step One: Submission of Department Application- The Educational Leadership for Social Justice program is currently accepting online applications for summer 2009. Submit the program application and all supporting materials no later than February 25, 2009.
- The Admissions Committee will review all applications and successful applicants will be contacted to set up an interview which will include a presentation of the applicants’ portfolio.
- Successful applicants who are admitted into the ELSJ program will be notified of acceptance by March, 2009.
Step Two: Submission of University Application
- Successful applicants who have been selected by the Department of Educational Leadership will be asked to complete on online California State University, East Bay application no later than March 18, 2009. Please note that you must be admitted into the ELSJ program prior to submitting you application to the university.
