Puget Sound defeats Nebraska Wesleyan 3-2: 24-30, 30-22, 30-22, 23-30, 17-15

Puget Sound advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III West Regionals with a tough 3-2 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan. The scores were 24-30, 30-22,30-22, 23-30, 17-15. Kalli Kamphaus late kill in the fifth game gave the Loggers a 17-15 victory in a match that lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes. Monica Groves and Emma Bryant had 18 and 17 kills respectively for Puget Sound. Kamphaus had 16 attacks. Laura Brammeier had 17 kills followed by Abby Bade with 16 for Nebraska Wesleyan which ended its season with a record of 17-12. Puget Sound, now 18-8 will face #1 seed Pacific Lutheran University 23-2 on Friday, November 9 at 4:30 p.m.
