Hospitality & Tourism Major
Hospitality & Tourism is for those who enjoy being a leader and always thinking about how to make things better. This career option is filled with opportunities to grow and improve your life while improving the experiences of the people you serve. Many jobs offer varied responsibilities where life is exciting, interesting and every day is different through meeting and serving people from all over the world. The Hospitality and Tourism sector is the world’s largest employer and employment opportunities abound all over the globe.
We have opportunities for you to gain employment in a hotel or hospitality business while you are in school. It is our preference that all majors work in their preferred setting to gain experience, and apply the knowledge learned in the classroom in a real setting. This is a profession and you have to gain experience along with your degree in order to advance. Just having a degree will not get you the job-but your degree and experience will open up opportunities for you.
