California Teacher Performance Assessment
(CalTPA) for 2008-2009
Starting July 2008, Cal State East Bay will be using the California Teacher
Assessment (CalTPA) to meet the state requirement for a program-embedded teaching
performance assessment. You will see these 4 CalTPA tasks in specific classes
in the Multiple and Single Subject programs this year. More information
on the CalTPA is available on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) website:

California Candidate Handbook
The California Candidate Handbook provides an overview of
the CalTPA process, an explanation of the four performamce tasks, and guidance about
the choices & decisions you will need to make as you complete each performance tasks
in your classes
CalTPA Tasks
These are the Word document versions of the TPA tasks from the California Teacher
Commission for reference and practice. Please use the Online Forms
versions inside TaskStream for the actual work submissions at CSUEB.
